Im August 2018 erstattete der Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of the right to freedom of opinion and expression, David Kaye, Bericht zuhanden der Generalversammlung der Vereinten Nationen zum Thema künstliche Intelligenz und Menschenrechte. Der Bericht thematisiert insbesondere auch die Verantwortung von Privaten, die Algorithmen trainieren und einsetzen.
